Meet Lakecia
Transformation Coach, Author and Speaker
Lakecia Carter is the founder and CEO of Pinnacle U, LLC, a personal and professional transformation practice. `Lakecia empowers high-achieving women of color - struggling with self-doubt - to break free from shrinkage and step boldly into their God-given purpose.
With over 25 years of experience in global management consulting, coaching, and leadership development, Lakecia has a proven track record of leading transformational change at every level. Her superpower as a natural connector lies in her rare ability to cultivate meaningful relationships built on empathy, trust, and a genuine heart for people. As a trusted partner, she creates safe, supportive spaces where women are seen, heard, and equipped to rise — unapologetically and whole.
Lakecia is the creator of the Shrink-Free Movement — a global call for women of color to stop shrinking and start showing up fully, boldly, and authentically in every area of their lives. She is the author of Unapologetic, a transformational guide empowering women of color to overcome self-doubt and walk boldly in their God-given wholeness. Through her signature Shrink-Free Ascent Coaching Program, speaking engagements, and workshops, Lakecia coaches and inspires women of color — equipping them with the tools, language, and community to break the shrinkage cycle for good.
In addition to being a certified personal and executive coach, Lakecia holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master's degree in Organization Development. Her most treasured achievement, however, is being a proud mother of two adult children, Kylah and Dorian, Jr. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, writing, and creating lasting memories with family and friends.
